Bring this project to life

The team at Fast.ai has just released the latest edition of the immensely popular Practical Deep Learning for Coders course and we're thrilled that Gradient Notebooks is once again an officially recommended cloud notebook for the course!

Fast.ai founder Jeremy Howard on Twitter

Fast.ai is an organization founded by Jeremy Howard and Dr Rachel Thomas. Fast.ai's courses are among the most popular in the world for teaching machine learning and deep learning.

Over the years, tens of thousands of students have completed the Practical Deep Learning for Coders course with the help of Gradient Notebooks running on free GPUs.

As with previous editions, we've made it extremely easy to start running the new Fast.ai course on Paperspace.

To start, all we need to do is select the Gradient product from within the Paperspace console.

Next, we'll create a new Project, which we'll name Fast.ai, and then we'll create a new notebook.

When setting up the new notebook, we'll select the Fast.ai runtime tile. We'll also make sure the Free-GPU machine type is selected and that the Auto-shutdown interval is set to 6 Hours so we can maximize our time in the notebook.

Now we just need to select Start Notebook!

The notebook will take a minute to clone the latest repo and set up the notebook IDE.

Once the notebook is running, we can run notebook cells and begin the course.

That's all there is to it!
